Business College Receives a Grant to Incorporate Virtual Reality Into Its Student Success Initiatives

The Gordon Ford University of Business enterprise (GFCB) has been preferred for the Immersive Soft Competencies Grant from Bodyswap and Meta. GFCB will get two Meta Quest 2 headsets and obtain to the Bodyswaps Library of comfortable abilities coaching simulations. The digital fact headsets and modules will empower college students to experience sensible office eventualities and education in conversation & public talking, employability & work interview, variety, equity, & inclusion, administration & management, and client working experience.

 “We not long ago included profession planning courses to our enterprise prerequisites,” explained Dr. Evelyn Thrasher, Senior Affiliate Dean Gordon Ford Faculty of Small business. “We will include the digital fact training throughout people classes. As learners total Bodyswaps training, we will observe up with  in-individual assignments to assess students’ progress.”

In the Slide of 2022, GFCB underwent a company curriculum revision. This revision has allowed GFCB to integrate professionalism and university student success into a student’s whole academic working experience.
