‘RRR’ music composer MM Keeravaani conferred with Padma Shri: ‘Much honoured’

Apart from MM Keeravaani, actress Raveena Tandon has been honoured with the Padma Shri. In the meantime, Tabla maestro Zakir Hussain and singer Vani Jairam are conferred with Padma Vibhushan and the Padma Bhushan, respectively.

MM Keeravaani and actress Raveena Tandon will obtain the award later in the year.

‘RRR’ is on a successful spree. Right after the Golden Globes and Critics’ Preference Awards, on January 24, the very acclaimed film’s track ‘Naatu Naatu’ bagged a nomination at the prestigious 95th Academy Awards, earning it the initial music from an Indian film to land a Greatest Tune Oscar nomination.

MM Keeravaani has also created background at the Golden Globes as they received the ‘Best Authentic Track.’ The tune also gained the Critics’ Alternative Award in the exact classification.
