Coca-Cola has revealed where its iconic red truck will be first rocking up this weekend as its Christmas tour begins. Visitors all over the UK are set to get a glimpse of the iconic red lorry, with it expected to begin in the capital and work its way through the country.
The fizzy drink’s Christmas journey begins at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent on Friday. It reaches Sainsbury’s Beckton in Newham, east London, on Saturday. They’ll be a pop-up winter market, games and “elfie selfies,” Daily Star reports.
Laura Moon, senior brand manager at The Coca-Cola Company, Great Britain, said: “Coca-Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert. “This year, the magic of Christmas is needed more than ever, and we are excited to bring back our famous truck tour to fans nationwide.”

The brand has linked up with foodbank charity FareShare, to donate up to 100,000 meals – the same number of expected visitors on the nationwide tour, using the slogan ‘Your Presence is Your Present’.
Coca-Cola Europacific Partners, with the ambition of funding the total equivalent of 200,000 meals.
Lindsay Boswell, CEO at FareShare said: “We’re incredibly grateful for the support from Coca-Cola. Their donation will help us get more good-to-eat surplus food to people across the UK most impacted by the cost of living crisis.
“We hope as many people visit the Coca-Cola Truck Tour this Christmas so that we can get more food to people who need it during what are challenging times for many.”
The full dates for the tour haven’t been announced yet but the following four places have been confirmed:
- November 25 – Bluewater Shopping Centre, Kent
- November 26 to 27 – Sainsbury’s, Beckton
- December 8 to 10 – Dublin
- December 16 to 17 – Belfast
However, if your area isn’t on the list above, don’t panic as the Christmas Truck Tour tends to stop at the same destinations every year and more locations are expected to be announced for 2022.
In 2021, it visited the following places:

- Pudsey, Leeds
- Intu Trafford Centre, Manchester
- Sainsbury’s Beckton, London
