Sergio Perez claimed pole posture at the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix after Purple Bull crew-mate Max Verstappen created a shock early exit from Qualifying following a mechanical failure.
Verstappen experienced been an frustrating favourite to choose pole just after comfortably topping all a few observe sessions at Components 1’s fastest avenue circuit, but a driveshaft failure saw him return to the Crimson Bull garage midway by way of Q2 and immediately get out of the auto, leaving him to start off Sunday’s race in 15th.
